Mike Gilbert is an entrepreneur, writer, and consultant. He is the Founder and CEO of Pazaz, Instant Freedom, and Crushing It Local.
Mike started his first business in 1995, bootstrapping it into a million dollar telecom with 15 employees and over 100,000 customers. He has built multiple sales organizations of 10,000 or more, and has been responsible for the recruitment of over 250,000 blood donors. He founded and published Rochester Magazine, and was CMO/COO of an Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing company.
Mike has served on the Board of the American Red Cross and the Advisory Council of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. He also opened and directed the Rochester Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Mike is a recognized expert in direct marketing, recruitment, fundraising and local marketing. He is a respected speaker, consultant, copywriter and coach.
As a wrestling coach, Mike is a proud member of the New York State 100 Win Club, and lead the 2006 McQuaid Jesuit Knights to the NYS State Academic Championship. He has also coached soccer and baseball, and has survived a Marathon and Tough Mudder.
Mike is a passionate advocate for his hometown of Rochester, NY and leads several local initiatives, including DowntownROCs and The585.com.
